Looks like it could be easily converted to a flight pen if you ever wanted to raise pheasant or quail.

    Its spelled Schafer.

Looks good! Do you have to buy your own plastic for it? I wonder why they used white plastic.

I can't tell if the bottoms roll up a bit or not from the picture, but you will want to make sure they do, for increased airflow.

    When you setting it up?

    Oops!!!!

The bottoms do roll up ... we can't pick it up until June .... I am thinking we will only set up 30 feet of it for now .... the plastic doesn't come with it ... I think its white because they.use it for cold storage. .. they have a HUGE greenhouse where they grow year round

I am thinking you could make separate units if you are only going to use thirty feet. Is that possible?

The plastic would be a pain to try to reuse, plus you're better off with new stuff.

We used ours for cold storage too, but I think we used clear to let more light through. Hmmmm, its been a long time and I can't remember.

    You'll enjoy it for sure!

Absolutely! One for cold storage, one for a greenhouse, and one for a pheasant pen! :D

We plan on buying new plastic every year

What do you think of that price? $300!

Depending on winters, you probably don't have to buy new plastic every year.

Oops....thought I posted in first response.....Steal! Good deal man.

If I enjoyed gardening I would be excited as well.

The pheasant idea sounds awesome though.

    Good buy!

I have a 12 x 20' (or something like that) version. It has the heavy tarps that tie down. (it's the redneck garage model) I currently use it to house most of my laying hens. If we ever get the extension on the pole barn done, I'm going to replace the tarp with clear plastic and use it as a greenhouse. I thought I got mine for a steal at $100. :)

When she told me about it, she was told.it was 10 x 50 .... when she took me to look at it I said, "That is WAY bigger than that" ... the manager said I was wrong ... I told her that it was 100 x 15 and she went and got the tape ... lol. ,

She almost was going to change the price, but she didn't ....lol

I am LOVING the.pheasant idea! The farmer around my house just gave me permission to hunt all his land and use it as we want for the business ... for free!

Will you release the pheasants to hunt or just... ring their necks? hah funny. My brother raises quail and chukars to hunt but its too warm here for pheasants.

That pheasant idea is great. Never would have thought of that. Might have to give that idea some thought for my place in West Virginia!

She is up ... all 32' of her....

Tomorrow I am putting in a propagation bed and setting up a misting system for the cuttings she will be doing ... this is too much fun ... we spent 3 days in Perry Ohio talking with vendors, touring the nurseries ... these things were MASSIVE ... nothing like that in NY ... there was one that was 1,000 acres ....

Oh yeah, tour bus got stuck ... :D
