Will, cabin fever has set in care to dig up some BOWHUNTING pics from this past season during your travels and post them. Thanks, T Ive been ice fishing and I will be out shed hunting this weekend but I am so ready for spring and summer so please oblige me. To rest of you clowns :p its been way to slow around here which it usually is this time of year but 2011 seems to be much more slower then usual. So step up!
I'll add a little at a time: And to think four years ago, as a six year old, my daughter shot her first deer. It wasn’t the best shot (perfectly broadside at 20 yards and I was telling her to aim behind its shoulder) Then in July, while celebrating her 10th birthday
One of the most memorable parts of my 2010 season was hunting with well over 100 different people- several from international locations. Gary Rawlings, from England, took advantage of a five day bow hunting in Africa. Sadly, bow hunting is banned in the United Kingdom. Gary broke wide open on the Dark Continent. He managed three miracles by arrowing two baboons and a bush pig (11:00 am on his first day of hunting). Baboons are by far the hardest thing to hunt with a bow, and you rarely see bush pigs during the day.
Scotty Bevins, who many on here had the pleasure to meet, was given a PSE Stinger on September 1st. He had never handled a bow prior to this date. He proceeded to show us his skill as a hunter-a bow hunter! In a two month period, Scotty killed a mule deer, several white-tailed deer, a pronghorn, a buffalo, and was party to (stand right next to the archer) the harvesting of two elk. He is a rare breed of man. If anyone ever gets the chance to hunt New Zealand, look Scotty up! I doubt you’ll find a better guide anywhere.
Justin Losee, from Utah, drops a Wyoming buff My Canadian pal, Rocky Steers, arrowed a smart Alberta buck. Grant Bowdy, from Australia, dropped the trigger on a speedy prairie goat Boy do I wish! I love it when a plan comes together! How am I doing Tony?
I did my very best to assist Paul Seward with his world record non-typical Merriam’s turkey. I was there when Brother Rob landed his North American Deer slam And Brother Dave carved his first creature. I so want to be there when he gets his first elk!
