    Hey guys my names chris. I use to bow hunt a little with a buddy extra bow, and im jus getting back into it, a buddy gave me his old pse phaser 2 to hunt with until i get the extra cash. Is there anything I can do to the bow to make it a little better then it is ( its old )

    im no expert....but im sure the guys on here will want more info..what do you have on it now, and what exactly you really need yet....maybe some sites, new rest, limbsavors, anything that could possiby make your bow faster or quieter...depending on how old the bow really is...

    Welcome to the site Chris and now is a better time then ever to be sittin in a tree stand...thats if your ready to go...

    First thing I'd do is bring it into a good PSE Pro shop and get new string/cables on it and have them tune it up for you.

    The bow is around 20 years old. Its a 70lb and 30 inch, My buddy wants to go red stag hunting, Im not sure if this bow is up to the job, what do you guys think?

    If it's properly tuned, 70lbs will likely work fine. Where do you live? I'm assuming your not in the US?

    IM in illinois, But we might either go on a trip of ranch hunt in Mo.
