Im after this big 17 point I think hes in the 170 range and atleast 41/2 to 51/2 years old. What do u think? I have seen this deer 11 times so far this season and havnt been able to arrow him yet but im trying. I have had him quarering towards me at 25 and didnt want to take a bad shot. hey does anyone have an opinion on this deer for the age and rack cause i wanna hold off on this deer if its young cause i know i will shoot him cause i hunt gun season with a bow and i seen him tonight but for some reason im startin to think hes a younger deer . also im not worried about shootin him this year cause hes in the middle of my uncles 5000 acre cattle farm so if i need to give him a year or to id be ok with letting him walk especially with this weird lookin 9 point ive been seein
That is an incredible buck, you must have some insane hunting if you could even consider passing him. I'm not real good at aging, but I can't see him being anything less than 4.5 yrs old.
I'm not to good at judging age unless they are broadside or close to it, but I would have to say he is at least 4.5 probably more like 5.5 and maybe 6.5 Hopefully you get some footage of him soon. Another PA bruiser. I'm going to hunt there some day.
thanks guys and i acturally missed last night at 30 yards he dropped a good foot it was so weird bo ive seen him a total of like 6 or 7 times this year and i feel like crap but its ok im gonna archery hunt all through gun season and see if i can get him then
How the hell did you get him to eat out of a dog dish ??? I would have just kept putting your choice of bait on the ground, spread out a bit. Anyway..He's big enough to shoot and I think you should do it.
yeah i missed once and seen him like 9 times allready hes killin my heart i dont know if i can take it im gonna hunt him during gun season with my bow
