I'm new to absolutely everything-- I've never even hunted before. We have land in which we allow a few acquaintances to hunt on, and I figured it's high time for me to give it a shot (haha, shot, see what I did there?). One of our hunters offered to take me out once I have myself all set up and ready, so I'm hoping to be ready by spring. I'm really confused about what bow to buy for my first time out, and am even debating buying a children's bow due to my stature. I look forward to making some hunter friends on here!
Welcome to the site! There is plenty of info on here to help you get going in the right direction. Good luck!
You are going to need to learn how to harvest whatever you are hunting. Top to Bottom. I would get a bunch of information on the different bow MFG. out there to start with and then size yourself up, decide, and buy one. Start digging you will find out if you are Bowhunting material. Also practice a lot, learn about arrows for the bow you end up with, get safe arrows. That's all I got man....stick around...K.
Welcome! I'm also from PA. Good luck! Get ready for an obsession that will stick with you forever Sent from my DROID RAZR HD using Tapatalk
Welcome to the site! Great people and TONS of GOOD knowledge here. Go to a bow shop and shoot as many bows as you can. Buy what feels best and shoots best to you. And PRACTICE, PRACTICE, PRACTICE!
