When he was asked if he was interested in the PSU job if it were to open, he openly denied it. He sure did not deny wanting the OSU job.

He wants it.... The question is will the OSU admin screw it up? After the way they handled every thing this year, it is a very solid possibility they screw it up.

He was born in Ohio (one county North of me). Played high school and college football in Ohio. Was a Grad assistant for tOSU and a head coach at Bowling Green University in Ohio. Earl Bruce (former OSU head coach) is his mentor. Idolized Woody Hayes. His wife is from Columbus, they both carry buckeyes with them for good luck... On and on and on...

This, I did not know, but certainly explains a lot.

If he does take the job, prepare to have even more criminals at tOSU.

He also had clauses in his contracts that he could leave with out penality if the OSU job was extended to him. How's that for interested?

No way Urban could touch Michigan State though.

Its a toss up some years. I believe Florida players had more issues with the law than any other FBS program during his tenure. At least Cryer doesn't front about it, though. Dantonio tries to act like he runs a tight ship with hard discipline.

On a positive note, if he does take the tOSU job, the Convict Bowl is back in play! The only decision left to be made is who will wear the black/white stripes, and who will be solid orange.

I'm excited just thinking about it! The fact that its MSU vs tOSU is better than when it was MSU vs Florida. Now its the two programs I dislike the most. This couldn't work out any better. We just need Cryer to come through.

Does Clarett have any college eligibility left?

If the Convict Bowl is a success, I could see an alumni game in the future.

Have Art Schlichter handing off to clarrett in the bowl?

At least Clarrett has cleaned his life up and seems to be a better person for his mistakes.

Oh, another thought...how funny would it be if they played in cuffs and shackles?

I'm pretty sure that idea just gave Germ a halfy.

Looks like the Fick called Tressel on friday and Tressy said run the damn ball with Boom.

1-4 passing for 17 yds? Looks like Michigan and OSU have the same issue, we cannot throw the ball. Big differnce is OSU has a good defense and can run the ball. Way to expose ILL!!!!

How funny would it be if OSU does hire Cryer, and then down the road he gets caught doing something shady? Tress and Cryer were #1 and #2 on the "they will eventually get caught in a big way" list. If Cryer comes back, he takes over the #1 spot.

    Buckeye:

Congrats on a great win for you guys. Another great game that the Badgers lose in the last seconds of the game. I prefer a red hat to white. I can't keep the white ones clean.
