    Hey everyone,
Just picked up a bow for the first time in 20 years last November. Working on getting my act together for deer season this coming fall.
    Glad to be here.

I frequent the area, just north of the Manatee River. How far inland do you hunt?

I hunt a very small parcel just west of Arcadia a friend of mine owns. It’s got some pretty nice “walk through” game but I’m working to make it a regular location for many of the species in the area.

I would love to find some land that I could really invest into.

So are you still a captain doing charters? Red tide, now this has to make it difficult if not impossible.

I still have my license but I’m not doing any charters. I actually got out before the red tide nightmare. Honestly I’m glad I did. Our inshore fishery is good but honestly it’s probably the weakest in the state. I’m glad FWC has us locked down.
Maybe one day I’ll return to charters but for now I’m happy to be out.
