need my help dragging him out let me know!!!!! right down the road about 30 miles. good luck with getting a crack at him
will do. likewise mudshark if you need a hand I'm here. hard to get help sometimes. where this is isn't going to be easy. It might be easier to pack it out. don't want to get ahead of myself here but it's the dream that keeps all of us hunting. if this all should happen to come together I will have learned a valuable lesson from this. lesson I will have learned will be that I have been walking by opportunities all along. something so simple as noticing a potential water source in the right situation and taking advantage of something so simple.
I think it all really depends on the weather at the beginning of the season. If it has been wet leading up to opening day I wouldn't hunt it because odds are the deer are getting most of their water from the plants with no need for a watering hole. But if it is fairly dry in that area and the hole still has water it might be worth a shot.
The hotter it is, the more water they need. If they are there during daylight now, I'd sit there the opening morning and cross your fingers. No reason to wait if you have them on camera unless the wind is bad. Don't ruin the spot if the wind isn't right. Best of luck to ya!
