Man, talk about a quick downward spiral.. He fell off the face of the Earth pretty quick. Too bad, he had some game back in the day. I followed him at the PGA Championship at Oak Hill and was stunned at what I saw. He was hitting shots I never thought possible from a pro. Especially one that challenged for the #1 rank in the world and shot 59 in a tour event. I swear he pull hooked one OB that was easlily 80 yards left. Then he called for the cart on the 5th tee and said "get me the blank out of here and WD" . I think he shot 81 the first day and was something like 6 over? after 4 on the second day when he had enough. Looks like he's doing well at the Bob hope this week though. I'd like to see a comeback.
No doubt about it. He'd still be Tiger (the old) and tearing it up. Now he's been exposed and is human.
Duval was No. 1 in the world for a while. And I agree.....I'd love to see him come back strong. He had some demons at one time (nothing to do with golf). I wish him luck.....and I'll have to check out his play, so far, this week.
"being human" thats a great point! at least now other guys in the field have that hope, whereas before.... forget about it
