"Dagger" is confirmed alive, and well. Trail camera pictures have surfaced...and I will post them mid week... last week while talking to the neighbor, who happens to work for my dad (and is a good friend of mine, and hell of a bowhunter)....he brought up a few bucks he has some history with...I told him I was interested in seeing them, and he has quite the collection. We got to talking about sheds, and I brought daggers in to show him..he begins to tell me he knows the buck and has a trail camera picture of him from last year! Saweet!! So now I have a pic from last year, and a shed from this winter... Today he told me that "dagger" as we both now call him is alive and well with a picture to prove!! He got another picture of him with a camera that was hung on the line fence between his and our land... Dagger is estimated at 4.5 this fall, and wouldn't you know it, the side I didn't find has a drop tine ~3". Also, he has sprouted a kicker of his left G2. This is his shed (~65") Pics coming soon!
Good deal Kyle. Now all you gotta do is kill him :D Let's see those pics dude! I'm pretty sure I remember the shed.
I'm always relieved to find a buck I've had my eye on has made it through the winter. Good luck with him, Kyle!
