I'm probably in the minority here, but does anyone else think Walker might be having money problems? I know he's a freak of nature, but it seems like there would be other ways for a middle aged man to make a living. NFL analyst? Coach? Personal trainer? None of those involve him getting the crap knocked out of him.

Not everyone does it for money. Some do it for constantly pushing themselves, they have an ego issue, some miss being in the spotlight, etc.

I honestly think he's more of the type to want to do it out of the sheer challenge rather than the money. I followed him a little on the MMA match he did and it certainly didn't seem like he was doing it for the money.

I agree, but have you heard Hershel try and form words..he is not the best for a color commentator job. It is a big joke around here that he was not on pace for his basket weaving degree when he bailed for the USFL. I remember just as David said, he ran hard, got hurt and become a down at contact guy.

I think the biggest thing against him would be the contact, you need to get hit to remain used to getting hit. That many years out of the NFL and he would bruise easily, those deep bruises that take weeks to heal.

It is real simple. At age 48, one does not have the reflexes to make it happen in the NFL. Period. I am just being honest.

Yeah, look at how Favre slow danced with the ball in the pocket.

I don't think it's about money. Guys like that are just competitors. Always looking for a challenge. I respect that.

    But......

This is also true. It doesn't matter if you can run a 4.4 40 yard dash. I just don't think it could work even if he is in great shape. The game is simply not for 40 year olds
