Some of the guys wanted to see pics of an old recurve bow my dad gave me years ago. The story goes that on Fred Bears 1st hunt to Africa the laws were everyone had to have a bow with them, well the camera man was from around my home town and he bought this bow just to be legal he didn't hunt. Well when he returned my mom bought this bow for my dad who never hunted with it he went out and bought a kodiak. So I have had it in my basement for years it is an aluminum recurve made by SedarQuest.. Walt

Walt they have to have some type of journal or information at the Fred Bear museum about that trip possibly? If so, you may just have to go about donating it that way.

Otherwise, you would have to find some other evidence that support it. I believe your story and it is probably true, but do you think the people at the museum would? I hope they do.

I don't know Bols, You would think that would be a pretty big event and they would have who was there and stuff like that, but I just never get around to trying to e-mail or talk to someone!! Walt
