Dependency does not equal trust. They become dependent on the government because they buy into the lie that they are not good enough to make on their own.
I'm genuinely curious... Why would a minor cross state lines to an area of known social unrest to patrol the streets with a rifle? Where are the parents? For those with children of that age... Could you ever in your life imagine your kid doing something like that?
I could be misinformed on this, but I believe he was part of the citizen group that was busting up the riots. I doubt his parents even knew.
I'm not even getting into why he shot or anything. From what I've seen it appears to be self defense. Just trying to wrap my head around why he was there in the first place at his age. Makes my brain hurt thinking about it.
Obviously his parents didn't know, but it makes you wonder... Imagine the things kids now days have access to via the internet that none of us had. How did he figure out where to get that rifle? How did he become a part of the group he was a part of in the first place? I just can't wrap my mind around it I guess. Never in a billion years would I have thought to do something like that when I was his age.
50 to 60 years was a LONG time ago haha. Basically comparing apples to oranges in regards to the circumstances as well.
Listen to a lie long enough and it begins to feel like truth. It is hard to beat generations of that.
I'm headed out the fish in a river to clear my mind of all this crapp. I wish you guys all the best and that you're not wrapped up into anything too bad in the months to come. This crap is going to get really really bad.
Why are 17 year olds out in the woods hunting with rifles? If you are trained, responsible and disciplined with a weapon where's the harm? I'm not as concerned with him helping to defend his families livelihood, if that deems true, as I am with rioters and instigators out there armed with firearms. I see it no differently than defending ones home, does it matter what age someone was who shot an intruder? Think it was several years back a 15 year old shot a home invader with an AR-15 protecting his mom and sister.
No, he does not leave my house. 1. 17 make bad choices at times 2. One mistake and rest of His life is ruined. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
OK, N/M. What I had seen is not the case, sounds like he was indeed out there in the street "patrolling" or something similar. Changes my thoughts a bit, but still don't know all facts and/or laws at play.
This is the latest I have seen on it. He was from IL not WI like I originally seen. Like always, what first comes out isn't necessarily the truth.
