In a city that has handcuffed police, in a city that waited days to deploy the national guard to stop the riots, in a city that knowingly abandoned a police precinct days ahead of time to allow it to be burned to the ground, in a city that the city council UNANIMOUSLY voted to ABOLISH the police department, where a city council member and his Father who happens to be the state AG publicly endorse ANTIFA. But sure Joe this is Trump's America, Donald Trump is the reason all of this is happening.

My grandparents lived in Portland before they passed. I went to college there for two years and transferred when I realized what a hell hole that city was becoming. That was 20 years ago. Put all the time together from college and visits as a child, I have spent close to four years of my life in Portland. I am not all surprised that it has turned into the crap show that is today. That is what you get from decades of spineless "leadership" that the leftist liberals bring. I don't want to see it and I think it should wait until after the election, but assuming Trump is reelected, it is time to send in the National Guard and put down the rabid dog. It used to be such a great city and most people there are still decent Americans. Hopefully, they are seeing what a mistake they have made.

the CPD unit that got shot up last night was literally around the corner from where I used to live and down the street from one of my offices. It's actually a nice (for Chicago) area. Gentrified and close to University of Illinois/Chicago.
