Exactly this is a multi faceted issue that's been going on for Multiple generations and is ingrained in our culture and systems. There is no one answer that will solve all the problems however pretending that it doesn't, is sure way to Preserve the status quo. We can do better. Problems in our systems and problem in the cultures of Communities are not mutually exclusive.
Ok, so in the report I saw words such as " doesn't appear to have" that could be skewed in and of itself. With all of that info, and even if it is all 100% correct...there is one thing that can solve it all..DO NOT COMMIT CRIMES! and you have nothing to worry about. You can can say well, they are poor, they are in a bad environment. etc.. but that doesn't should be criminals. Yes, environment has a ton of influence. However, the black community can't just do nothing. Denzel Washington and Morgan Freeman have gone on record saying this. They have to want better. As for whites in the same poverty, same thing. The mountains of VA are littered with meth labs. unemployment, welfare, and petty crimes. Does their environment influence it? Sure. But at some point, you have to say enough is enough. Not simply fall in line with the status quo. The black community must demand better from their neighborhoods. too soon, bro. too soon. While darkly hilarious, this poor kid's life is probably ruined no matter what. For defending his community and his life. Yes, Kenosha is his community- he worked there as a lifeguard. I think the only thing he can be charged with is minor in possession of a weapon. As one other person on here has stated it would be an interesting 2A case to present- nowhere in the 2nd Amendment to the Constitution is there a reference to age. Considering that it was relatively common for 14+year olds to have taken up arms and joined in the Rebellion against the Brits; it would stand to reason that it would have been common practice and completely socially acceptable for people that young to keep and bear arms; and that as such the 2nd Amendment was intended to enshrine those juvenile's rights as well.
Yet when they come to your town, they'll ask for your service to protect them while they bless your community with their presence.

I am not a racist I have not oppressed anyone I raised my kids to be color blind I am not sure what if anything I can do to be part of the solution. I have zero guilt for the situation I have worked hard and other than being a charming SOB I have no privilege. Do not try to tell me how easy I have had it because I am white that is BS as well. I suppose that is part of the problem I can not appreciate the challenges of the inner city poverty but I have zero guilt about that.
Two cops shot issueing an arrest warrent one in head, last heard fighting for his life. One shot point blank in chest . Alive due to vest. They returned fire killing suspect that was fleeing before turning on them. Family : This is so wrong ,he was a sweet loving guy. Didn't deserve to be shot that many times and didn't deserve to die. I'm sure more riots and those cops don't deserve death for doing their jobs! I'm sorry this BS narrative is nothing than a means to a $$$$$$ pay out for family members now.
