Here is a good video on it, fairly unbiased as it shows the first dude that got killed may not be the sexual predator he was claimed to be. I don't know, I refuse to call a 17 year old a kid, the man lived miles away from the border so I'd assume he knew WI gun laws. I have not heard where the gun came from, whether it was brought by him or passed out wherever he met the group he was with. I cannot for the life of me find it, but there was a self defense shooting ruling sometime this year where the shooter was either illegally possessing or in possession of a stolen firearm and the judge deemed that the right to self defense was not negated by it. Trying to figure out which case it was. Anyhow, here is the breakdown. You can clearly see, even though he was being chased, he did not fire the first shot. before they show the muzzle flash in a second view, I believe they put the circle on the wrong person, or there were multiple pursuers with handguns which would still show a right to self defense was warranted.
