So Jacob Blake's parents say they want justice...Justice? He's lucky he's alive. Did they not see their son walk away from police while being detained? Walk to his car after being tazed? And then go into his car after he told them he had a knife in the car? WTF?
being an ignorant thug and not doing what the police order you to do and reaching for a knife can get you shot ... cant fix stupid with the punks and thugs out there .... I dont feel sorry for him one bit .. if one wants to live by thug rules, deal with the outcome ...
SO BLM and the other idiots are still screaming justice...I guess they just think that people should be able to be criminals and ignore laws and endanger peoples' lives at will.. NBA players are so oppressed they walk out....oh wait.. they get to live life in a bubble in 5 star hotels and play basketball all day millions of dollars...damn sharecroppers from the 1920's never had it that bad... well kiss my ass!
The thing is, in the 60's there was a legitimate need for justice and change. And it happened. Today, not the case. Sure racism exists, but on both ends. There is far more opportunity for minorities today then ever before. In fact there is a lot less opportunity for white middle aged men then ever before. But I ain't marching and protesting. I just go to work and raise my kids. What was that line, Henry David Thoreau from Walden Pond?? "The mass of men live lives of quiet desperation” yeh, that's me..
Guess the lawyer that sued CNN for with that kid might end up being lawyer for kid in WI. Gonna get interesting now. Edited to avoid two post: Here's a article shedding a little light on why the kid was there. https://bluelivesmatter.blue/sherif...-was-part-of-group-who-asked-to-be-deputized/ Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
the weird thing is here sits Detroit the model of peace, who would have believed that would have happened. The police chief here is awesome. As for the kid it seems like he wanted to be a police officer or fireman. It's a shame the kid did not get better direction in life from adults.
And 1 or 2 days later, they resume their season bc they wont give up their money.... all a publicity stunt so they can "look and feel good about themselves... money > the cause
And yet, Montrez Harrell can call Luka Doncic a "***** ass white boy" on the court and nothing happens.. Where is the equality? Where is the social justice? If Luka would have said anything close to that to him, he'd be out of the league.. Everyone saying "he wasn't being racists, he just got caught up in the moment" yeh ok..
I'm not going to disagree with this, but there is fault on both sides. When you decide to participate in a violent protest and riots and people are armed on both sides, you must understand there is a chance you're going to get shot. Especially when you attack someone holding a firearm. This entire situation is a glaring example of the media's bias in storytelling. The "victims" are all being remembered by their friends and family as "loving", "peaceful", "good people". The first guy who got shot in the head is shown earlier in the night yelling "Shoot me, n*gga!" again and again at armed citizens. He then chased and attacked the kid with the gun before being shot. From everything I've seen, he provoked the attack. On top of this, his a non-compliant registered sex offender. Not a single report by any major news outlet mentions this. The only thing they focus on is that he leaves behind a 2 year old daughter. We see a pic of him kissing his child when it was born, but no mention of his criminal history or inclusion of the "shoot me, n*gga!" video. The second and third guys I give a little more credit to. They believed they were trying to stop a person who just killed someone. However, the second guy killed (one with the skateboard) also has a criminal history of battery and repeated domestic abuse. Any mention of that in the news articles? Nope. Just a quote from his girlfriend saying what a hero he was. The last fella whose arm has seen better days, also with a criminal history. Again, I'm not going to agree with any of what happened. All of these idiots would have been better off at home that night. Right about now, I'm pretty sure they all feel the same way. However, the very clear bias in all major media reporting is astounding. They dug into the kid's Facebook page and told us all about how he loved guns, cops and Trump to paint the picture that fits their narrative, while blatantly ignoring the questionable past of the victims and painting them as loving heroes just trying to do the right thing. This is why nobody trust the media, and this is why everyone hates each other.
Montrez Harrell apologized and Luka was good with it, so what's the issue? Also, did you hear what Kenny Smith had to say about it, it was pretty good and I am glad he spoke up. Said we all have to change the way we talk to each other. Really good.
The last line is spot on, my thought on this kid was he really wanted to help people it seemed, that's it. Even if found innocent I fear his life is in trouble. Everyone involved shares the blame, just sad because thinking about my son who's close to that age.
The issue? Ha! lol.. You think it would have went down the same way if roles were reversed? Come on germ, you are smarter than that. Luka would have at the very least been fined and likely suspended.. If we are going to be equal then let's be equal.. He could have said anything, but he said " ***** ass WHITE boy" that is race based comment. If Luka would have said "***** ass Black boy" ?? come on ma
If I read another story where they compare the current riots to the Boston T party, I am going to be even more pissed.
A lot like the canceled nascar driver Kyle Larson, dropped a N bomb with a soft R as the kids say. He was dropped like a sack of potato's by cancel culture.
I just wish someone could actually point to a specific area of injustice towards minorities. Voting rights? LGBTQ discrimination? Feminist prejudice? Laws are in place Federally, that protect these groups. stop me when I am wrong. Gay rights? check. Affirmative action? Check. Feminist? Affirmative action. Check. Transgender rights, use any bathroom, go by any gender you want and not be denied a job? check. Im all ears
