Well here she is all together ready for a string and some serious shooting.

The riser is Morado or Bolivian Rosewood the limbs are Jatoba on the back, Yellowheart on the belly with Black Walnut wedges, Mesquite overlays on the limb butts and antler/phenolic on the tips.

    Thanks guys I appreciate it.

All I got left to do is add the felt under the limbs, give her a quick wet sand and buff with 0000 steel wool and paste wax.

Oh she shoot as good as she looks too just put 100 arra's through her:cool:

I'm basicly a recurve guy but I could really see adding that or one like it to the herd. DAMN fine looking bow!

How long does it take you to produce a bow like that?

I thought it would be longer. Waiting for glues and resins to dry I thought would be that long. Not to mention cutting and shaping.

Do you get backed up on requests?

I can't afford anything right now, so I'm not asking prices.

It takes 4 hours in the heat box for each limb, what I try and do is have 1 limb and riser (if it is a lam riser) in the box once they are done I do the second limb and while thats in the box I have 4 hours or so to do the rough shape on the riser, install the locking hardware and shape the limb, when the second limb comes out I shape it ready for tillering.
Once they are tillered I check the weight if thats ok I add the tip overlay's and butt overlays and they both go back into the box, while they are cooking I do the final shaping and part of the riser sanding.

I could do them faster if I used power tools to do the sanding but once the riser is roughed shaped all the sanding is done by hand.

No not really but I do tell people to give me atleast 3 to 4 weeks from the time they order just incase I have trouble getting a wood they want or if I screw up and have to remake anything.:bash: :d

Ahhhhhhhhhh the story of my life:d
But I do understand with the economy the way it is.:deer:

    Jeff.

    Thanks mate I appreciate it.

    Rowel.

You can get one cheap as anyone on this forum can:cool:

All ya have to do is buy the materials needed give me a few bucks to cover the electricity and come down to the shop and do the build, I will just give some advice along the way, or in your case write the advice on a brick and keep hitting you on the head till it sinks in:cool: :deer: :hail: :d

Russ, seeing it's shooting that poorly and you're having that much trouble getting groups you might as well just get rid of it. I think donating it to the needy would be admirable.

    I'm REALLY NEEDY![IMG]

I was on the phone with Will a little while ago and it looks like I might be losing her for a couple of months.

He wants to take her up to the artic circle on a musk-ox hunt in Sept and maybe to Jeff's for a deer hunt.

Which if thats the case I will have to either rely on my other Bogan or build another one for opening week end:deer:

Pm me your phone number and I'll give ya a quick call
