First off this is the worst shot I have ever made on a deer and not happy with myself.
It was a quartering away shot and she either moved to the right and put that hip out or I just screwed it up. (I did back out and wait until the following morning)
But anyways these rage did the ultimate job for me. I hit her hind quarter and drove down into her innards
and out the bottom of the chest. So as far as I am concerned its 100% complete and thats all that matters.
I mentioned earlier that ive learned a lot of things but what I most learned on this hunt I am officially
a Deer Hunter and nothing else. I had a plan and it worked to perfection. In the past I always thought something
was missing through the years but now I understand the big picture and its a fun ride so far.
Sorry for my little rant but im happy has hell as a hunter now and it has nothing to do with the kill.

That corn field right there only 10-15 rows are only cut. He had such good crop this year he filled his silo's and has no more room for feed.
He will be selling the rest of it so it should be up for awhile and I am going to put a stand about 100 yards from that to the south.
Also this is so strange that she died right where I walked into my big boy stand that I killed the 168.

Awesome, Tony... good job on using wisdom and backing out; all too often, "those" threads that pop up on the other site would be non-existant if it were for just that one thing being added into the forumula.

Looks like a pretty double-white throat patch on her too.

Double throat patches are the coolest thing ever. I'd be happy as heck to shoot a nice buck or a doe for that matter with a coat like that.

Well done Mr. Fraley. You are a deer killin' machine.
