Hey guys, I could use some help. I'm sighting in my bow on a deer target. I have my sight virtually all the way over, yet I'm still shooting to the left. My sight is so far over that it's about to fall off the bow. Desperately need some help!!

Sounds like you need to move your arrow rest.

Are you using a whisker biscuit?

That depends on what type of rest you have. You might do better with YouTube of how to do it. Search your rest.

Man there could be so many problems. Take a photo of your bow from directly behind the string with an arrow nocked and sitting in the rest and post it ITT. As you are taking the photo try to hold the bow so that the arrow is hidden behind the string. Need to see how your rest is positioned left to right.

If your bow is set up remotely close then a couple other likely problems causing extreme left to right would be severe arrow spine issues or (more likely) you are just torquing the hell out of it.

Post a few pics of your set up and maybe we can spot something.

If you can afford to.... throw the whisker biscuit in the garbage and get a better rest.

It's not impossible for a whisker biscuit to shoot right but I wouldn't waste the time if I were you. Sorry man. Get a $60 QAD drop away rest and get someone to set it up for you if you need help and leave this problem behind you. It doesn't have to be a expensive rest.... just not one of those things.

I am certain that there are many guys on here that are more knowledgeable than me but I worked in a archery pro shop setting up bows for a while and have set up my own stuff forever. I tried a whisker biscuit about 6 or 8 years ago and I simply could not get the thing to shoot worth a damn. Come to think of it I believe I had the same problem you are having. When I set the rest where it should be... the bow shot way left.

It should tell you something that I almost asked you if you were using a whisker biscuit and the other guy immediately asked if you were.

I shot perfect groups with a WB for many years. Easiest rest to set up and tune. You don't need a different rest.

Do you have any ideas as to why it's constantly going to the left?

How far left? You know that the sight needs to be moved to the left correct? To move impact point to the right.

The arrow ends up about 2-3 inches left of where I aim. And yes, the sight is moved so far over that it's almost going to fall off the bow, yet it's still shooting left

Try moving the rest in very small increments. To the right. Something is jacked up. Can you get to a shop?
