I'm graduating from law school and decided to buy myself a new bow as a gift to me... I have been bow hunting for years and currently shoot a Hoyt MT Sport, so it's time for something new. I'd like some feedback as to which bows you guys would recommend.

    Any thoughts?

Your best bet is to find a good archery shop or 2 and shoot as many bows as you can. It is important that the bow is comfortable for you and only you. Try not to let others influence your decision.

The bows any more are all great. PSE, Bowtech, Mathews, Hoyt all have top notch bows. As do other bow companies. It really is hard to go wrong with any of these. Just weigh in what you are looking for in your bow. Price, speed, axel to axel , kenetic energy, excetra. Then do some research as to which bows seam to match best of what your wanting in a bow. If you are able to go and shoot the ones your interested in and make sure it feels good in your hand. To me that is what is important cause they do all feel different and you want the grip to be comfortable for your liking. For me it was a Bowtech, but for you it may be another Hoyt or Mathews. Good luck with whatever you choose.

I just got Elite Pulse 65 lbs at 29" draw and I have nothing to complain about. The thing is a beast. It shoots accurate at 70 yards time and time again. I lost an arrow at 40 yards; shoot straight through my Morrell's Six Shooter.

I agree with the above posts. Shoot as many bows as you can. I shot about 30 bows before I got my Pulse.
