I went out today and the weather channel app was saying we were having 16 mph winds. That doesn't seem terrible, but it ended up blowing my 25 yard shot quite a bit. I was actually pretty calm as the doe I was aiming at was still checking out my decoy so I know it wasn't nerves. I had the pin lined up right behind the shoulder but when I released it just went past her butt. I had this happen a few weeks ago in similar winds but due to the direction the doe was facing, it went a few inches in front of her instead of behind the shoulders.

I'm using a mission blaze bow with gold tip 400/5755 arrows, swacker broadheads, 30" draw length, draw weight of 60 lbs. I am certain it's not a need for more practice. I've taken two doe this season with the same setup but little to no wind and hit exactly where I aimed and I have very tight groups when practicing.

Of course I'm going to google the topic and read up on what I can find, but I figured I'd ask here just in case anyone has some tips I don't come across. Thanks!
