    Good gawd....what a bruiser....congratulations on a certifiable giant!

I'm going to throw a guess out as 5+ and 190 gross. I think if he was over 5 he would have some loose skin under his chin and I don't see any and he looks pretty tight yet for a mature deer.

Just a small word of advice, I would keep this close to the vest. Don't tell neighbors or show this to anyone in your town. Family, as long as you trust them sure, but if you post more pics of this beautiful beast, make sure you don't say where in KS they were taken.

Absolutely great advice...some guys out there will even go so far as to eat a few game violations right in front of a warden to get at bucks like that one. There were a pair of guys here that I know of that deliberately ignored a warden who gave them tickets for trespassing because they had seen a booner on a specific property and had decided to go after it come hell or high water.

I was sitting in a tree stand one time and another hunter came slowly walking up glassing ahead every now and again. then he would take a few more steps and look ahead. I whistled at him and he looked up in my tree. I climbed down and asked him who he was and what he thought he was doing. He told me he shot at and missed a big buck and it ran this way so he was tracking. I told him it was private property and he didn't have permission to hunt there. He gave me a little gruff at first but then I told him I was the land owners son in law. This guy had to be pushing 60 and I was maybe 22 at the time. He knew better.

I'm in the 4.5+ range as well and nearly touching 177 gross IMO....but geesh I'm not good at guessing that size at all :D I agree, keep posting but don't hint at where to any locals.

At a bare minimum I think he is 4.5. As far as score, I'd say he will go in the 180-190 range.
