im looking for help in running leds. i want to switch over to leds but several things im hung up on . do i get dc and run on battery's or go with ac and run a converter on battery's so i can plug them into a generator after battery's get low on juice. which bring in another thing, what type of battery would be best 12v or 24v and one or two. rigged parallel or not.. over all im just looking for at the most 5 to 6 hours of bow fishing time a trip. the leds im looking at are a ruff combined total of 20 amps. looking for help or guidance in a good direction. thanks

We run 8 50w RPM bowfishing Cool white LEDs on a 1648 with 2 group 27 batteries rigged 24v, the lights are rated for 24v so we chose to run them that way to get max run time and prevent low voltage shut off. With two older batteries we got about 4-5hours. With new batteries we should get about 6hrs, we are going to run 3 batteries in the new 1860 mod-V rig for extra run time. Running silent is awesome and i really enjoy it over yelling over a generator. They are plenty bright too!
