Guys, I know this has been a topic as of late but, I haven't seen many pics. I have a spot I want to hunt and it has some really nice cedars. I just need a pic or two to get an idea of how I need to set one up.

Any help will be greatly appreciated!!

The best stand that I ever hunted out of was in a cedar tree. I had a 15 ft tripod stand that I located in the actual tree. I threaded the legs thru the limbs and let the top sit hidden in the actual branches. When you were sitting in the stand, you were hidden completely by the branches. I left the stand there for several years and the tree grew around the stand. I would trim a few branches each year in order to get a good shooting lane. The deer got so use to it they would never pay any attention to it. I would take some of the branches and crush them and rub them on my boots and clothes. This created a natural scent that the deer was use to. Needless to say, the rutting season was something to see. Hope this helps. I have no pictures but lots of memories.

Put you a ladder up it, an carry a limb saw on the way up. Cut you out a hole to put your lock on on. Just do not trim to much away they are great hiding places. I have one that puts me 12 feet off the ground an you can not ask for any better hiding spot.
