I bought some Easton fmj 6mm shafts in 320 spine. I am wanting to install 75 grain inserts. Will I be underspined? I am shooting a Mathews halon 32 at 70# 28.5" draw.

I think they would be great cut to the proper length (short enough). BUT I do make sure the length is long enough so the BH is past the my fingers/riser. (I took a buddy for stiches many years ago.) I use the free trail of shaft selector (pinwheelsoftware.com).

Put on the correct filters (ie hunting), put in your bow and all components. Then play with the length to get optimum reactive spine. I like it to be on the stiff side but still in the green. This has works for me for 5-6 dozen arrows.

I'm just worried I might get to weak of a spine with that much weight on the end. I can cut them as short as 28".

your going to be on the weak side with 200 grains upfront in a 330 spine arrow at 28 " and 70 pounds

    That was my concern.
