I could figure out how to write and color on the picture.... im not good with computers. my plan will be in the next post. I just need some help trying to figure out a final hunt
sorry about the picture being so terrible.... but long story short that field is 600 yards by about 200 at its widest point We have 3 stands along the bottom side in the pic... one is in the very bottom corner, another 120 yards up that bottom side, and another about 70 from that. We also have 1 stand across the field about 150 from the bottom corner. The deer come from the woods on the bottom of the pic right around where the stands are. It is normal to see 10-20 deer a sit but i shot a 4pt last week and my buddy shot a doe yesterday. so they will be timid im thinking. On the bottom side of the picture you can faintly see the loggin deck. About 50 yards up from the login deck there is a large 8 pt that 3 of us have seen. we have seen huge scrapes down the side of the field and a rub line coming out of the woods and down the side of the field towards the loggin deck. now my dilemma... it is impossible to get in without spooking the deer and this buck seems to be active in the morning or really late at night. I am planning to set my climbing on friday evening about 30-40 yards from the loggin deck towards the top of the pic. I am planning to get in the woods around 3 a.m.( it gonan suck they are calling for a low of 32) but i wanna be in the tree well before light... we never hunt this peice in the a.m. becuase we have never had success but we normally go in just before light the times we have tried. I know the picture sucks and the explanation is kinda hard to follow but i need some help.... i want to make this last day count. thanks to all for the help
Donut, what is the expected wind for tomorrow? Donut, here is how your write and label the pic... 1) Get the pic you want on the screen and Press "control" and "print scrn" (upper right hand) together. That copies what is on your screen. 2) Open up your PAINT program 3) Press "control" and "V" and your pic will be up in the PAINT program. That pastes what was on your screen into your paint program. From there you can label it up all you want/
im working on a MAC and do have a paint program that i know of... i fiddled with it for a while but im not sure what to do
