Hi guys I don't know where to start so I decided to go straight to anyone around the waupaca and stevens point area. I applied but did not get the zone 2 tag that I wanted but got a zone 3 tag for this 2013 spring turkey hunt but I have never hunted this area before besides a small public area in waupaca. I'm not from around here but I went to school at UWSP in the past. Could any of you direct me to some public hunting grounds in the Stevens Point/Waupaca area that will have gobblers. Go on the WI DNR website, and you can find quite a bit of public hunting grounds. I don't know that area too well, but I'm sure you can find something. Good luck this Spring!
Im from Wild Rose Wisconsin and it is in your Zone. There is this public land right next to my parents old house that had turkey all over that place because of all the farm fields. Its On 17th drive Wild Rose WI, 54984. Good luck man. The whole waushara county area is nice country and nice land. Good luck man
