That strip by the A on the aerial map looks like a good area that should funnel some traffic. You've also got a couple of nice corners in the field on the left hand side. On the topo it shows a creek, but I can't really identify it in the aerial. Are there any woods around that creek?

    Tony,

I'd pick a new spot all together. Based upon the topo provided, you ain't gonna find a single elk in that flatland stuff.

Bry ....the creek is there ....shallow most of the time ...1-2 feet in most spots ... it is SURROUNDED by woods and drops down sharply for most of the run to the east ...it then fans out (the level of the ground)

Grizz .... if you see the red dot, that is my favorite stand .. I have taken 7 deer there in the last 3 years ... you have markers all around there ... it's all good (as far as deer movement) ...you are right on as far as spots

    Will ... LOL :p

The feeding area you have a ? on to the north is actually CRP ... BIGTIME bedding area

That is a set of pines where you have marked the dbl wide corner .... we have taken and seen good deer back there ... if you go north of that spot, towards the other set of pines, another good spot .... I took a doe there this year (shotgun)

Now the area you have marked as a funnel has a fence running thru it ... and it drops pretty good.....

the woods are made up off mixed hardwoods and pines .... they feed AND bed in the field East of the road

This would be one of the first spots I'd check. DBL inside corner pinching into the creek. Looks like a great funnel to me.

This is the spot that jumped out at me too. Tha corner just looks like a spot they would cross in and the fence line just adds to the spot.
