Hey guys, I got a very important question, my papa bought like 30-35 new blackout x5 envy 340 arrows because me, my brother, and him used to have all different arrows and lengths so he finally got tired of the chaos and made us all shoot the same ones. anyway, we still have some nice Gold Tip Hunter Expedition arrows left over and I don't want them just sitting there so I need yall to tell me how to read the lil lable thing on the spine of the arrow so I can see if they weigh different amounts and stuff like that. anything would help, THANKS
It means 400 spine, I don't honestly know how it is measured but it defines the flexibility of the arrow. The lower the number the stiffer the spine. You need to look at an arrow selection chart and match your draw weight and arrow length to the recommended spine on the chart. In my experience, if this leads you to a choice between two different spine arrows the stiffer one is usually more desirable.
