Hey guys I was wondering if you could help me out. Im looking for ways to raise money for breast cancer. My girlfriends mom survived it and my best friends mom recently got diagnosed. So i would like to help raise money for not just them but everyone else out there. My GF mom is wanting to do the Susan G. Komen 3 day walk thing. but they need to raise a certain amount of money to be able to do it. If i reach my goal id shave my head. Now This would be pretty big for me since my hair is to the middle of my back but id cut it for a good cause. I was thinking about this same thing. Pat has to wear a PINK Monster Raxx t shirt for the BH.COM shoot this summer because of our bet and I was thinking we could have people pledge money on his score. We would send all of the $ to them. If there is a way we can tie a few things together I am all for it.
Haha Id wear one with him. Maybe we could talk to Justin and Todd on doing something to help raise money at the shoot. I can try and think of some ideas that would be fun to raise some money there of we are able. Then if we are able to we split the money up and send it in. Or in my case pass it along to my GF mom.
Hey guys i thought id bring this back up. Its about 2 months now till i shave my head. Ill be donating my hair to the locks of love and also giving the money i raise to my girlfriends mom so she is able to participate in the the 3 day walk supporting breast cancer. She is a survivor of breast cancer for 8 years now. If you guys would like to help me reach my personal goal of $500 to donate to her it would be greatly appreciated(you can send me a PM),if not thats alright too and thank you for reading. Ill also keep you guys updated on how it goes. Ill be getting it all cut off after 3 1/2 years of growing. This is the best picture i can find right now. Its longer now. my hair is really curly, if it was straight it would be past the middle of my back. It will definitely be weird at first but its all going to a good cause so I'm okay with it
Really cool oly! I try to raise money also. My mom had breast cancer and it was one of the worst experiences that not only my mom went through but all of us as a family went through. She has been cancer free now for 6 years. Couldnt be more blessed and happy. I also sold rock candy at school and raised a ton of money with that. That must have been tough to go through, I can only imagine how difficult it would be. Ive never had anyone in my family have it, but i know a lot of people that have gone through it or recently diagnosed with it. Its tough for sure. If i can help out just a little bit here and there when i can i will. I think i can easily get to my goal, I just need some pledges from people to help out. Im doing a thing at a local restaurant place (i know the owner) to raise money, part of the money that come in on a certain night from food and drinks will go towards my GF mom. Im hoping that brings in a lot.
Every year i buy a couple "Firefighters for the cure" shirts and wear them. I also buy the "I love boobies" bracelets.
Sounds like u may need some help! I could start something again up here and raise some money for your gf family also. I'll get as much as I can then give it all to u at the g2g? Not sure what I could do yet but I'm sure I can figure something out
