So, I had my bow retuned by a more experienced bowtech as opposed to the original person who set up my little Redhead Blackout. Apparently, he found the valley to be too generous and has left me with nothing.

My questions are, how much does a larger valley affect my bow performance? Did he possibly speed it up when he tightened it?

The snatching and 2 half dry fires are getting increasingly nerve wracking, causing me to hold with too much force and severely cut my accuracy.

Should I have my bow returned to the original soft valley, or would it be more beneficial for me in the long run to keep it as is? If so, are there any techniques that will enable me to accustom myself to it quicker?

    Thanks, Bowhunting.com!

When you say valley, do you mean letoff?

Yeah man, when I say valley, I mean the area before the powerstroke begins and your string is really slinging the arrow.

Your draw length maybe to long. Try pulling back beyond your anchor point. If there is more draw you need to shorten it. If your draw length is to long you are holding the all the weight which is just before the letoff.
