I know I ask alot of questions here. I do research most things, but some I would rather trust the people that are out there alot, and know their stuff. (You guys). I am looking at getting a new bow. Sometime before spring anyway. I have recently settled other issues that were getting in the way of this. But now I have other things coming up. Questions. Maybe you guys could point me into a direction? 1. There is a trend I am seeing, and it is not to my liking. Grips. They are all really small. I am a man, a man with big hands. I like to know that I am holding on to something. The avg bow now days has no grip. Why? Before you say anything. No I am not grasping the grip when I shoot. I know better. But, I do like to hold onto my bow when walking, sitting, not shooting. I like a larger grip. Is there anything out there that you can think of that would have one of the larger style grips on it? 2. Cams. What the heck is the difference between binary, and twin, and hybrid. Mostly, why aren't they the same? 3. Mathew's. In all honesty, Is this going to be a company that will stay around for a while? Not like Hoyts side brand of Reflex? I liked their Growler, but some things came up that prevented me from getting it. Now they are gone. I want a brand that is going to be around in the next 10 years. You know??? Makes sense right? I know there is more. I know this was probably really annoying, but know that I will be asking these when I go to the local shop either this weekend, or next. I like to find alot of opinions, and figure things out like that.
My wife hates the slim grip on her Alpine bow. I put one of these on it for her. Shes pretty comfortable with it now. http://www.basspro.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Product_10151_-1_10001_95336_450003000_450000000_450003000_450-3-0
I like the bear brand bows...thats all i have and i love them..they've been around for ever and i don't see them going anywhere soon...they make a great bow at a great price and they have a larger handle on them...i'm 6'3" with some pretty good sized mitts on me and they fit me just right...thats my .02....Jeff
Me too. I like to be able to control it when I need to, whether its carrying or shooting. I use a Sims insulator strip on the front face of mine, makes it nice and comfy. That tentacle wrap works good too. Also, they have excellent customer service. And, I believe that the Primos guys are on a 10 yr contract with them, so that should say something. My .02(I might owe you change.) Leebow
