I am new to food plots, I have cleared a couple of cut downs in the woods. I would like to plant a few food plots, becuase of the price of corn. I live in eastern south carolina. I am looking to plant in the next few weeks, but unsure what to plant. Any ideas would be great on what to plant. I already took a ph sample and it was 5.7. Thanks for any help.

What part of the country are you in? Have you been dealing with drought conditions like much of the mid west has been dealing with? How much sun light do those cut downs in the woods get?

Not that I will be able to help you because I am also new to food plots - but I think that you will need to provide that information to help get your questions answered.
