Go to www.chasingame.com or www.trailcampro.com. There are reviews on most of the units made on those sites. Talk to friends that have cameras and see what their likes/dislikes are on their units. One thing to remember, you can get cheap cams for anywhere from $59-$99 but generally they won't last as long as the more expensive units. Also, if you think theft will be a problem, I suggest you get a security box. They usually run in the $40.00 range. A good place to purchase those is www.camlockbox.com. Good luck with whatever you get.

    Blessings.....Pastorjim

x2 on checking out the cams on website review boards they are a great help.

low dollar cams have slow trigger speeds, and love batterys and in general will be a big disappointment, also test the cam in your yard you will get a feel for what it will do and what it wont, like how far your cam needs to be from it's target and how long it takes to come out of sleep mode and get a pic.

so get a budget and get on the cam review sites. Most are sold right here on this site,

Also if wall-e sells it-I would pass on by .... just from my experience.
look at the AA battery cams they have better battery life.

My big deal is where i like to use my cams is about 25 miles one way and nothing burns my arse then getting there and finding dead batterys and just a few pics,

Here is a couple from the last time out.
