I am asking for a little advice on what to price my old bow for. I don't really want to sell it and was going to keep it for a back up bow, but my buddy wants to buy it. I am just at a loss on what to ask for it and don't want to rip him off or give it away. Ok, here it is...

    2004 Bowtech Justice VFT
    28" Draw/ 60#
    Cobra lighted sight
    Whisker Biscuit rest
    STS string stop
    Newly installed Extreme bow string

The bow is in really good shape and I am the second owner (since 2007).

Any input is greatly appreciated. I have no idea how much to ask for the bow. thank you!

did quick search for you. one sold on AT for $165 bare bow back in 2013. with all accessories I wouldn't ask more than couple hundred. that's the bad thing with bows. no resale value after few years.

Bows are like computer technology in a way. they lose resale value fast. Being a 2004 and selling to a friend of yours, i'd probably sell it for $150.00 If you really wanted to keep it, i'm sure he would understand as well. Take him to the local pro shop and look at used bows as well. For the same price he could get lucky and find something similar or better and then its a win for both of you.

Thank you all for the research/input. That really helps to give me an idea. Looks like I might be asking about $175 if he really wants it. Or I will just keep it . Thanks again!
