Let me help Canada and other countries are nicer, even thou we have more "Christians" in this country. Bad people will just break laws, deal with it. I need to defend myself against a tank. Because it's my right and I care about me. Mental health is a serious problem, we just have no serious people in Washington to solve it, so will just let these people wonder around and access to guns legally. But hey we may ban bump stocks, wtf
They're on a no buy list in list state. And I'm guessing any oyher that requires a background check And provided care, long befor aca came along. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
Apparently not, because they keep buying guns, I think the issue is no one knows they are mentally ill, because they are not getting help.
Who's all these mentally ill buying them? And how are you goin to force people to get treatment? Its there and available with or without health insurance so you can't force peole to go. Or should we pass a law requiring a mental health screening every 6 months for everyone. Well I'm done with this topic now that it's not gonna be a discussion for much longer without bringing up tanks or whatever else. Guess my final question would be yea this and vegas were terrible, but the numbers injured or killed are a pretty standard weekend in Chicago or probably most major cities. So where's the big freak out and fear to stop that? My guess AR's most likely weren't used so its not scary. Or is it those people are supposed to be shooting at eachother. Think about how social media and the 24 news cycle give these shooters a platform to make a statement.....it's a bug part of the problem..... Sent from my XT1080 using Tapatalk
Number 1 treatment has to be available, it's not here like in Canada. Number 2 be sure to go ask your questions to the pastor who lost his daughter, see if he gives a flying **** about what happens in Chicago
Make a new law that won’t work. Just like the law that should have prevented him from owning a firearm didn’t work. This guy had a not only a dishonorable discharge, it was a bad conduct discharge because he served time for assaulting his spouse and child. He was felon and legally couldn’t own any firearm . New laws are meaningless.
Go say that face to face to the pastor who's kid got mowed down, it's just blah blah blah on a board.
The only blah blah blah I hear is from you. Your answer to a broken law is to talk to father of a dead child....and say what? The law wasn’t followed by a criminal but hey good newswe will make a new law that won’t be followed criminals! Feel better ?
Tell them that its because the US needs a "well regulated militia" to protect our borders like it did 200+ years ago. Oh wait, that's not it. It IS a mental health issue. Where people think a "right" should supersede a "need" at any cost.
What good would it do to outlaw something that's easily built with fairly common tools and a human brain? All the specs are readily available, a fairly smart person could learn enough machining in a few months and buy the tools and equipment needed for under $5K to build one from scratch, ammo is readily available for about any caliber you'd want to make one in. A few thousand more and more brains and a little more tech and one will be able to be 3D printed. Solve that issue and then you're into the issue that these demented wankers will use a car or truck or plane or explosives...recall the marathon bombing? It's pretty easy to kill people, individually or in mass. Start taking away freedoms that are guaranteed by our highest document and you've opened a can of worms that cannot be closed and even once opened, won't solve the problem. As long as there have been humans, there have been human murders, that will never change. Pointing at a tool used for it won't solve the issue in any way, shape or form. The world is a dangerous place, life is always in jeopardy at every second. You can't pass enough laws to make that any less so. The basic problem...people are ****s and there are too damn many people.
the only thing I tell the students is that we live in an open and free society and with that comes risks.. we have to ask the question, to we want freedom or restrictions....hard to have both
Our country was founded and protected by private citizens who had guns. If we didn't we would be owned by England right now. The day people give up the rights to own these types of guns or any guns is the day we could lose our country. I am a CPL holder and can carry a concealed pistol. The reason why these places like churches and schools get attacked is because the people doing it are cowards. They know that legal citizens like myself cant carry a gun into a church, school, sporting arena, bar etc.. if we got rid of the no carry zones. It wouldn't stop people like this but it would reduce it. If one of them people in that church had a gun on them that attack would of ended quick and saved lives..
1. It is available. Every state has state funded healthcare for those that can't afford it. And again so shouls it be law everyone has to get evaluated periodically. 2. Go ask the parents of any drive by victim. But ok guess the pastor's daughter means more. So lets get rid of assault rifles or use emotion to write laws. Like said earlier handguns are responsible for 3 or 4 times as many deaths. So solve that problem thats still gonna exist. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
Bought legally In April 2016, Kelley purchased the Ruger AR-556 rifle he allegedly used in the shooting from a store in San Antonio, Texas, a law enforcement official said. There was no disqualifying information in the background check conducted as required for the purchase. How is assault and dishonorable discharge not disqualifying? Something is seriously broke
I choose to get my head out of the dirt and help. I am not just going to throw my hands in the air and state nothing can be done, oh well. Others have figured this out, I guess we're too stupid?
No, because I could put two deer rifles over my shoulders and two pistols in my belt and still kill an azz load of people. Maybe not dozens but when we talk about human lives, how many is acceptable?
