Am I out of line here or did this guy wake up on the wring side of the bad? http://www.tundrasolutions.com/forums/1gen-tundra/232420-06-tundra-low-beam-issues/
Idk do u want another lecture ha ha. So like the guy/gal is jus a a*s. It happens on these forums alot, seems like ppl wanna argue jus for the sake of arguing.
Just curious, have you checked to see if there is a low beam fuse? I know a lot have went to separate fuses, some even have left and right headlamp fuses. Wondering if maybe they tried tapping into the wrong lead and popped a fuse. Most remote starts I've installed will turn on the running lights when started. Been years since I've worked on cars for a living, so not as familiar as I once was.
Looks like you'll have 2 separate fuses in the engine compartment fuse block. LL and RL for the low beams, I'd check those first.
cls, no i havent... I'm in the middle of an 18hr roadtrip and discovered it when it got dark. I did check the fog light and tail light fuses but havent had a chance to look at anything else. Thanks for the thought, I will check it in the morning. In the meantime i lowered my headlights and am using brights.
Not elitist Gary, I just need my truck to actually drive OUT of the mountains Oh and tundras are made in Texas. How's your Toyota driving? Lol
He may have not woken on the wrong side of the bed.... BUT... if he's putting in a remote starter... he's probably Gay. Come on .... REally.. Remote starter. That's like buying your girl friend one of those things with batteries. Remote starter indeed. Hmmph
Look at his post count.... He obviously knows his crap. Probably as much Vito or Hooker on bowhunting.... You're just a lowly newb. Wait until he comes here asking how to kill a deer eating his tulips.
