Go shoulder/touch a CVA Accura. I did, today. You'll be really pleased.

    Have no idea (v1).

I can buy the V2 (gun, only) for $399. It comes with the same strap I have on my Optima. For the $200 diff.....I'd buy (I did) the Redfield 3X9X40mm for $149 through Cabela's.

I'm going to buy the black/stainless. The camo doesn't interest me.

It won't sniff the Redfield (owned by Leupold w/ same warranty). And, the Redfield is cheaper (apparently).

That's what I liek to see!

Are you gonna top her PT?

Everyone one the planet suggested a fixed 2x. So that is what sits atop mine. It is one of my biggest equipment regrets ever. If you are anywhere series at all, I suggest a 2-7 variable. Past 40 yds those deer get real small in a 2x scope.

I have a Weaver atop mine, I sighted it in ONCE and it hasnt moved since. Probably 5 years or so. If/when I upgrade to a variable, I will probably stick with them.
But explore around just like anything, depending on price range, nikon, burris, leupold are all good choices.
