What's up guys.. I am looking at getting a new stand here in a couple weeks, and have made the decision to switch from a climber to a hang on stand. (Due to versatility) and I was wondering if the lone wolf alpha II comes with the linesman strap to be able to hang my lone wolf climbing sticks with. I can't seem to find anywhere that says it does or does not. Any help is greatly appreciated!

No, the stand doesn't come with a lineman's strap. It comes with a basic harness and tether but nothing you'd want to use for hanging a stand. My best advice would be to pick up a nice safety harness with a strap. It will be much nicer, easier to use, and keep you safer than what comes in the box w/the stand. Personally I prefer the Hunter Safety System products but there's plenty of other good options out there as well.

Thanks for the reply sir. Are there any systems that have a linesman strap that wouldn't cost an arm and a leg? Haven't looked at hunters safety system yet. Just curious.

Some of the new Muddy safety harnesses actually come with a linemans belt and a safe line. They are top notch quality.

Just imagine what a hospital would charge for "an arm and a leg"? Don't skimp on your life.

Very true. We get so caught up in funding that we forget the important things. I appreciate that.

Justin, I have decided to go with the Hunter Safety System ultra lite flex harness. Do you know if the lineman's strap includes carabiner for hooking in to the harness, or do I need to buy some?

I would think that they would include it. I have the Muddy harness. I love it

My assault 2 came with a linemans strap. Worked nice too. Did however get a different harness

One tip- don't sell your climber. I did the same think bought a alpha and three sticks. It's amazing how many straight trees I found after I sold my summit. The LW is killer but a climber is far more comfy. I ending up purchasing a LW sit and climb and love it. If I'm hunting a new area (usually public) I'll bring the hang on in the first time. Quite often I'll find a great spot with a perfect climber tree right there. Next time in I'll bring the comfortable climber.

That's the way it works I'm sure. Haha. I have a climber, but it's extremely old and uncomfortable, not to mention heavy. I love to explore so I think the hang on will be great for that. Thanks for your input. I appreciate it.
