I pulled my card today and got 2 pictures of a young buck with 2 large grapefruit size growth on his side. Any idea what they could be> Injury? Tumor? Infection? Any help would be appreciated

Not too un-common to see them with tumors:

Not uncommon but the name of such growths is escaping me at the moment. The can be very big and have no affect on the deer...while some sadly cause extreme discomfort or even lead to premature death due to not being able to see (some on neck and head) or ability to escape predators (lack of running ability).

It's possible that it's a subcutaneous fibroma or some type of tumor, but more than likely it's just a collection of fluid from an injury. I wouldn't hesitate to shoot him, and unless you notice anything off with the muscle under the growth, the meat will be fine.
