I was going to the post office for work this morning and some dumdass was going the wrong way down a 1 way street and T-boned me this morning. He hit me so hard I spun up onto the sidewalk and hit a tree on the otherside of the truck. After I stop I look at the other car and the people get out look at there car (don't say a word to me) Get back in and drive away. There car was messed up and I don't know how it was still running. Come to find out after the cops were called he rear ended another car a block away and was running from that. The good news is that his front plate was stuck to my truck so the cops should be able to find them. What kind of truck should I get?
Dang Dan.. that's some messed up business right there. I would've chased them down like a madman! Stuff like that just pisses me off. Was glad to hear you were alright though. (and buy a Ford):d
Why do you got to bring the "F" word into this mess, Duke?!? That must have been quite the wreck.....he must have blasted you pretty hard! Glad you are okay. And I agree with Duke, that really does bug the crap out of me. Get a GMC, the new 1500 trucks look pretty sharp dressed up.
I can't buy a Ford it's against my religion :d Chasing the guy onfoot was,t such a great idea because I was in a bad part of town if you know what I mean.
It was a newer Dodge Charger so he might have insurance or he was running drugs or it was a rental/stolen.
Damn:huh: Well at least your ok Go with another Chevy, Its not what I personally drive (Nissan Titan) but they are great trucks.
Buy a Dodge, er...scratch that....buy MY Dodge. :D j/k Frame looks sprung, was it totalled? Glad you are ok.
Man that sucks! Glad you were in a truck, though. I'm going to go against the grain of many of the guys on here, and advise you to pick up a Toyota. New Tacoma, or an 05-06 Tundra (yes the new ones are big and powerful, but the 05-06 have the proven 4.7 with VVTi, 5spd auto, and 20+ more HP than the previous gens...plus they are DEAD reliable). Plus they can be had for a decent price since the newer style Tundra's are out.
I dunno, does it look like the frame is worse off or is the rear axle slammed and bed being so totally jacked up creating the illusion like the frame is sprung? What do you think? I would say it could go either way without being there.
The frame looked twisted but I haven't heard from the shop yet but the guy at the shop said it's not looking good.
