We dont need to hear about you on the news or youtube because you kept shooting it. Dont become another statistic be safe dont shoot and have it fully inspected by a certified bow tech. Its not expensive to have it checked by a tech and well worth it if theres damage or not.
You wouldnt shoot a rifle after droping it or bending the barrel right the same goes for a bow if dry fired or droped dont shoot it to avoid serious injury or more damage. Dont listen to anyone telling you its prob fine to shoot unless its a tech that just inspected it.
I just stripped the tape off the limbs to check them and i didnt see anything wrong. Then i tried pulling the string back, and the creaking is gone and everything seems normal again? I also checked the string and cables and they look fine too.
Do not shoot it or draw it back anymore till you have it checked out. Nothing could happen or it could blow up in your hands. Be smart about it Sent from my SCH-R970 using Tapatalk
Never mind. The creaking is back. I think it might be both the axle and bearing. Im gonna take it in to scheels and have it looked at
Yeah take it in this can be a very dangerous situation especially if you have a arrow nocked and it blows at full draw or upon fireing. I seen a kid that was 17 and had the same thing happen he drew it back it blew and the arrow cut up his hand very badly and had to go through surgery it wasnt pretty.
if i was you i would take it to a mathews dealer and DO NOT shot it with a cracked in the cam and if you have the limbs taped there might be a stress crack in one of them also DO NOT fire the bow untill you have it looked at by a dealer !!!!
I took it to scheels yesterday and had it looked at and they said it was fine. They put on new QCCs but thats it. So im good to go! Thanks everyone for all the help!
