hey guys. so i just picked up a Diamond Marquis bow off of craigslist not long ago. it came with a drop away rest and 3 pin sight. my uncle bought me some carbon express arrows for my birthday. iv got like a 27 inch draw length and pulling about 65 pounds. Im not sure if anyone is familiar with this bow or shoots one, but i would definitely like to get some tips on what i can get/do to improve it and keep it as good as possible. I am new to the forum and the bow hunting world, so i would sure appreciate as much help and advice as i can get. thank you all!

First thing I would do is take it to your local bow shop and have it looked over, just to make sure everything is peachy. As far as making it better, you could accessorize it with a new sight, rest, string silencers etc. It really all boils down to personal preference. Keep the string waxed and in good shape and just enjoy it.

ya, i already took it to the shop and they all seemed to think it was a pretty good bow for what i paid for it ($325). I had it fitted to me and everything before i got the arrows for it. also, a particular question i have... im using a "d loop" or whatever to shoot with my release, but i have to keep messing with it to keep it aligned with my peep. any recommendations for that issue?

    Thanks for the help

a new set of quality strings will take care of that peep rotation.

You could also reset the peep, take it out and put it back in, just move it according. Worked for me.
