I'm starting to get into video my hunts ad already have had success with a go pro the past spring. I have filmed with a Kodiak play sport and it just doesn't do it for me. So I am stepping it up a bit and trying to keep it under $500. The play sport would end up probably being 3rd angle cam.I already have good go pro accessories.

    Go Pro Hero 3 Silver
    Go Pro Wi Fi Remote
    Go Pro Battery Pack
    EZY 2nd angle camera mount
    Go Pro Head strap

    ---------------------------------------

So here's what I am thinking of buying. I really want to hear what is top priority and what should be next and what can wait. I already have a tri pod and a tree arm but am looking to upgrade after this investment.

    Canon Vixia HFR500 - 250.00
Azden Smx10 shotgun mic mini plug - 79.95
DM Wrap around mount - 34.99
Vari Zoom stealth zoom controller - 119.00

Sounds like a good start to me. Buy what you can afford and upgrade as funds allow. The controller and mic are no brainers IMO.

Looks like a very good starter setup.
