Here is a sample video I took with my helmet cam the last time I was in the stand. I just shot at a tiny little tree that had a rub on it, but it shows how well the camera will work. It's the gopro HD camera and I lost a lot of quality by putting it on photobucket but it will still be fun. The video seems to be playing a little bit faster on photobucket than it should be. Let me know what you think. That path I shoot over is at 12 yards from my stand.

Like the video concept. My only thoughts are since your going through the trouble of using a helmet cam, maybe you could mount a second one to the bow (these things are pretty cheap now) and you can get a direct line of sight view when taking a shot. then you can splice and edit and probably come up with a pretty professional looking scene. Just a thought.

Anyway, its a cool idea, and I like to watch "real" hunts, so keep posting!

I love the idea and I've actually been thinking about doing the same thing. Good luck!

I am headed out in the morning to a new spot that I'm excited for. I have fresh batteries in my camera and charged my helmet cam. I'll hopefully got some deer in video and maybe even shoot something. I'll update this tomorrow night.
