I stepped outside the other night, and started looking through the little Island of trees between me and the other side of the loop we live in... It took a while, but I figured out what they were lol. I started walking between, and behind the cars, until I could get close enough for a shot with my cell phone... Quality sucks, but I was zoomed in all the way, and a bit... I was on number 6 or 7... lol.

They have been there in the same place, every night so far. They live in the pine grove just behind the apts there... I doubt too many people have seen them there yet, they are very nocturnal.

Cool....there is no telling what you might find living back there on the Neuse River...probably the big ole grandpa to those little ones!!! Too bad you can't hunt it....let me re-phrase that...hunt it legally lol.

could.. Just need permission from the pharm. company right there... or the company next to them. ( I have seen a rather tall 8+" rack coming out of the pines right behind sheetz...) He was chasing someone special. ;)
Next year, I need a little boat (canoe) to take on the neuse right there, and down. for waterfowl. No one ever goes back there! Okay, once, but they sure were lightin' them up!
The city limits are cut right on the river there. and there is a canoe access point just under that bridge. I like taking my jeep down that road/turnoff, and sitting watching the river. lol. I've never seen anyone fish down there, so I assume it was off limits for it. It sure doesn't look very deep under the bridge... or, well, it wasn't up til about 4 months ago. .
