    Hi All!

I'm currently staying in Washinton Dc for a year or so. I normally hunt with a rifle but I have been thinking about trying bowhunting out.

Would you say it is more or less humane than hunting with a rifle? What are the benefits, besides being fun?

    Welcome to the site!
Either way is Humane as long as you practice Good Shot Placement. Deer are very resilient creatures and sometimes it takes longer for them to expire even after Good Shots are made.

    Welcome to the forums!

Bowhunting generally has much longer seasons than rifle hunting, and I enjoy the added challenge of having to get so close to game.
