New to this place. Grew up on the Iron Range in Minnesota. Retired from the Marine Corps. Currently work as a game warden in Arkansas. Been shooting bows since the early 70's when I got my first stick and string. Been hunting bow only for the last six years. My back yard range is 60 yards plus. I shoot almost every day. Here to learn and share stories. Looking forward to meeting and learning from fellow hunters and willing to share what little I know.
Just down the road from you, Tower Soudan, Lake Vermillion area. Family moved out to Eagles Nest after I joined the Corps. Been up to Ely many times.
Getting dark but will try tomorrow. Ain't great, using Horse stall mats for back stop set up with landscape timbers and 2x4s. Laid out between my pasture and the neighbors. Got an old Styrofoam target for a base to set my shooting target up on. Great for shooting balloons at long range.
