I am in the Northeastern portion of Oklahoma. Deer and duck hunting here is great. We havent been much rain so the acorns may be slim this season. Food source may be the "trick to the Trophy" this season.
I'm in Sequoyah county, gotta love the duck hunting around these parts. We were getting quite a bit of rain, the last month or so has really slacked off though. Hopefully we pick some more up soon.

acorns will surprise you and some species only produce in large numbers every few years anyway... last year was a banner year on my place and we had far from adequate moisture...
